Despite thunder rolling overhead, flashes of lightning in the distance, and a torrential downpour sweeping across the mountain, Stephanie and Jonathan’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. Held at the beautiful Burritt on the Mountain overlooking Huntsville, their celebration was filled with warmth, intention, and a love deeply rooted in their shared faith.

One of the most memorable parts of their day was how they didn’t let the rain steal their joy. From the very beginning, Stephanie and Jonathan were grounded in what mattered most, each other and God.

The wedding’s soft, pastel color palette of lavender, baby pink, buttery yellow, and pale blue – created a dreamy and romantic atmosphere that was carried through the florals, bridal party attire, and reception details. Stephanie added a unique touch to her decor by incorporating ceramic and brass swans throughout the reception space to honor her Grandmother who recently passed away. A delicate crystal swan was even styled with her bridal details, adding a special feel to the morning.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and emotional, marked by personal vows that beautifully reflected their love for each other and for Christ. The way they looked at one another full of gratitude, awe, and joy, said everything.

Their story began the new-age way, on a dating app called Hinge! They met on December 28, 2023, just one day before Stephanie’s birthday and two days before New Year’s Eve. For their second date, they visited a coffee shop on New Year’s Eve, where Stephanie made a wish that Jonathan would be “the one.” That wish, it turns out, came true.

Their relationship grew naturally from there. They spent time together, built trust, shared countless laughs, and found comfort in one another’s presence. As Stephanie puts it, meeting Jonathan felt more like reconnecting with an old friend than meeting a stranger. Their connection, especially their shared love for God, family, and community, laid the perfect foundation for a life together. Now, as husband and wife, they look forward to growing their family and stepping into whatever the future holds—side by side.

The florals by @flourishandcodesigns were soft, whimsical, and perfectly suited the day’s pastel tones.
